Popular British YouTuber and rapper JJ Olatunji, commonly known as KSI, recently revealed that he has lost over $2.8 million in LUNA following the cryptocurrency’s downward spiral over one night.
“I just put $2.8 million in that LUNA buy and it’s worth less than 50k. But that’s ok because I’m not dead. I’ve got my family, my friends and my vigorous work ethic haha,” KSI wrote.
The YouTuber has reportedly had previous significant losses on the cryptocurrency market – losing $7 million in a Bitcoin crash in July 2021 before warning of the perils of investing according to the Mirror.
If KSI bought his 157,357 Luna for the reported $2.8million, his purchase price would have been around $17.79 per coin.
After recounting his losses, the rapper seemed rather optimistic. He shared a series of self-reflecting tweets, stating that he was grateful to have lost just a huge chunk of money and nothing else.
He has claimed to be a better place and more focused and happier than ever.
