Whale Sends 300 Million DOGE to Binance

The popular cryptocurrency tracking website Whale Alert revealed that an anonymous whale transferred up to 299,999,999 Dogecoin to the Binance exchange. That is the same as $21,733,783. Another cryptocurrency watcher, @DogeWhaleAlert, discovered a number of additional DOGE transfers, totaling somewhat more than the aforementioned one.
Binance was also a destination for two of them. These transactions occurred as Dogecoin had a minor drop in the last 24 hours.

According to a TradingView graphic on Binance, the DOGE price dropped over 8% on May 8. However, early today, the meme coin recovered slightly, adding 2.13% and remaining down roughly 6% in the previous 24 hours. DOGE is currently trading at $0.07274 at the time of writing. As a result, if the aforementioned unnamed whale sold his Dogecoin on Binance, he most certainly did so at a loss. Over the last few weeks, Dogecoin has held up well against the recent craze of the PEPE joke token, which featured a flurry of listings on major exchanges and rose by more than 50% numerous times.
