After weeks of crypto market turmoil, the Cardano (ADA) price has risen by over 25% today, providing relief to traders and investors. After its transaction volume jumped three times that of Ethereum, ADA has surpassed XRP to become the 6th largest coin by market cap.

ADA was trading at $0.6347 at the time of writing, up 21.41 percent after backtracking from a daily high of $0.6823.

The following variables have caused the ADA price surge: ADA Price Rebounding from Low Levels, GitHub Development Activity Launch of Lagon’s Cardano-Ethereum bridge for USDC, as well as the Vasil Hard Fork.

The Cardano community is looking forward to the debut of Vasil Hard Fork, an upgrade to the Cardano network, at the end of June, as it continues to make progressive moves and attract more users to its network.

The Cardano team continued to work on a number of creative projects. After a loss on the Cardano network in recent weeks, GitHub development activity reached an all-time high, causing the price to rebound.

Lastly, with the launch of Lagon’s Cardano-Ethereum Bridge, which will enable the stablecoin USDC to be moved from the Cardano blockchain to the Ethereum Blockchain, this sounds very positive for the long roadmap ahead for Cardano.
