The testnet was restarted on March 24 in response to Shibarium plagiarism accusations, which prompted the coders to alter the chain ID from 917 to 719.

While the Shiba Inu Puppynet had only 713 trades on the first day, traffic increased to 41,688 on March 27 and 144,458 on March 28. Yesterday, Wednesday, the trade number plummeted to 3,118 transactions.

Despite this, the number of accounts has grown at the same rate as transaction traffic. There were 101,139 purses available at the time of publication. The network has now completed 195,377 transactions in 156,513 blocks. The average duration for a block was 5.0 seconds.

As Lucie recently outlined, anyone can become a validator on Puppynet. Users must pledge at least 10 BONE – these are Test-BONE and ETH on the Ethereum Goerli test network and can be obtained from the faucet – to become Shibarium validators on the testnet.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) was trading at $0.00001062 at the time of publication, marking a retest of the declining trendline after breaking out. Surprisingly, the decline has been in effect since early February. A price rise above $0.00001162 is required to validate the breakout.
