According to blockchain statistics, the airdrop, which began on June 1, 2022, had given 166 million of the almost 215 million tokens allotted for the airdrop to addresses that claimed the airdrop prior to the announcement. According to Optimism, almost a fifth of eligible addresses did not report the airdrop and will consequently receive the direct delivery today.
Optimism has committed to giving out 19% of its initial token supply via airdrops. According to Optimism, 13.73% of the initial supply remained after two airdrops. A third airdrop has yet to be announced by Optimism.
