NFTs built on BNB Smart Chain, or BSC, will no longer be permitted on OpenSea. OpenSea stated on social media that the decision to remove BSC was made due to the “need to align resources with the most promising efforts,” finding that “to continue supporting BSC outweighs the impact.”
“You will no longer be able to create new listings or make new offers on BSC NFTs as of today.” “However, you will be able to view, discover, and transfer BSC NFTs on our site,” added OpenSea. “We are confident that this decision will assist us in allocating resources to keep up with the rapid innovation in our ecosystem.”
