Kevin Rose, the inventor of the NFT project Moonbirds, lost at least $1 million in NFTs in a wallet exploit.
CirrusNFT, a Twitter user, first spotted the drain at 1:49 p.m. EST. At 2:02 p.m., Rose acknowledged the hack on Twitter.
Rose confirmed his wallet breach on Twitter on January 25.
Rose’s OpenSea transaction history reveals that multiple NFTs, including Cool Cats, Squiggles, and OnChainMonkeys, were stolen.
Rose appears to have kept his most valuable NFTs in a separate vault.
Rose was also an early investor in Facebook, and on January 6, she signed with prominent talent agency United Talent Agency.
