Hong Kong Regulators Will Release License Guidelines for Cryptocurrency Exchanges in May

The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong plans to publish guidelines for its licensing regime for cryptocurrency exchanges within the next month, according to a Bloomberg report citing remarks made by the commission’s chief executive officer, Julia Leung, at an unnamed event.

Leung also stated at the Thursday event that the regulatory framework’s consultation process received over 150 responses.
