Google Cloud, the company’s cloud services platform, is now introducing a specific program for Web3 businesses that utilizes cooperation and relationships with some of the largest names in cryptocurrency.

The Web3 Startups Program is part of the larger Google for Startups Cloud Program, which supports pre-seed to Series A startups with technical tools, cloud services, and more.

Projects that are accepted into the program will receive exclusive Web3 benefits such as a private Discord channel with Google Cloud Web3 product and engineering teams, Web3 training courses, and grants from Google Cloud foundation partners Aptos, Celo, Flow, HBAR Foundation, Near, and Solana Foundation.

For some years, Google Cloud has been developing Web3 solutions. They previously developed the Blockchain Node Engine, which is a fully managed node-hosting service. Only last year, they developed a completely dedicated team of Web3 product managers and software developers with the goal of bringing Web3-related goods to market.

Web3 builders that chose Google Cloud will receive a variety of tools to aid in the development of their project, including up to $200,000 in Google Cloud credits spread over two years. Participants in the program will also have the ability to obtain early access to Google Cloud’s upcoming Web3 products before the general public.

Web3 firms who are accepted to join will face regulations and limits. A “Start Tier” company is less than five years old, while a “Scale Tier” company is less than 10 years old and has proven investment up to Series A. Google Cloud services, including Web3 capabilities and partner products, will be significantly reduced.
