Gate Group, the parent firm of crypto exchange Gate.io, intends to introduce a Gate Visa crypto debit card via its Lithuanian subsidiary, Gate Global UAB.
According to a Gate statement, a waitlist and enrollment procedure are now available for users in the European Economic Area.
Cuy Sheffield, Visa’s director of crypto, stated that the payments company “wants to act as a conduit between the crypto environment and our worldwide network of retailers and banking institutions.”
“With programs like the Gate Visa debit card, Gate Group debit cardholders can convert and use their digital assets to pay for products and services anywhere Visa is recognized,” he added.
