CEO Elon Musk stated that Ye’s Twitter account was stopped again on Friday for breaking the social media platform’s policies on “incitement to violence.”

The musician, then known as Kanye West, seemed to upload an image of a swastika, a Nazi emblem, inside a major Jewish symbol, the Star of David.

Musk stated that he “did his best” in response to Ye’s now-deleted post. “Despite this, he broke our rule against inciting violence once more. Account will be deactivated.”

Thursday was the day when Ye made antisemitic remarks during an interview with the notorious radio broadcaster Alex Jones. In a one-hour talk with the conspiracy theorist, Ye alluded to “the Jewish media” and claimed he saw “positive things in Hitler.”

Twitter suspended Ye’s account for an indeterminate period of time in October after he made a series of antisemitic statements that evolved into threats and abusive insults against Jewish people. In November, he re-joined Twitter.
