Elon Musk stated in a response on the social media network he owns that X (previously Twitter) will “never” establish its own crypto coin.
Musk’s statement followed a warning from user @cb_doge, who advised people not to fall for phoney tokens or memecoins masquerading as legitimate X-sanctioned crypto projects — or news articles mentioning them.
“Elon Musk and X have never launched a crypto token,” the person remarked, to which Musk responded, “And we never will.”
