Do Kwon, the creator of Terra, may be in Europe, according to South Korean prosecutors, who spoke to KBS.

Following the collapse of the Terra ecosystem in May, the ailing crypto project’s leader has refused to make his location known in the public domain.

KBS claims that Kwon, a South Korean native, traveled from Singapore to an undisclosed destination through Dubai in September. In South Korea, he is wanted on suspicion of breaking the capital markets laws.

According to the KBS story, South Korea revoked Kwon’s passport after his alleged arrival in Europe. Kwon informed that he has no plans to utilize his Korean passport and that his current home is “totally lawful” when contacted for comment.

Prosecutors had accused him of ordering price manipulation of Terra’s UST stablecoin, which was intended to be pegged to one US dollar. He defended himself against these allegations.

“I think they mean we’ve traded UST for the purposes of stabling its price and the answer to that is yes — also discussed in multiple podcasts [and] public venues,” Kwon said.

He referred to a prior tweet when questioned if he was in Europe, claiming that people have “no business knowing” his whereabouts.

He has insisted on numerous occasions that he is not hiding, and he is still active on Twitter, even making fun of those who are looking for him. He announced that he would host a conference on Thursday and that “cops” from all around the world were welcome to attend.
