DNP3, the founder of Goobers NFT, blamed his gambling addiction for his gambling and loss of user monies.

“I became tremendously hooked to gambling over the previous year,” he stated. “I would put whatever cash I could get into Stake in the hopes of winning big. Even when the huge triumphs came, they weren’t enough. I eventually lost it everything. In addition to my personal life savings, I used investor funds recklessly to try to ‘get my money back’ from the casino, which was improper for a variety of reasons.”

On Twitter, he said that it “began with a sponsored broadcast and unlocked an addiction I never realized I had.”

DNP3 is the creator of the NFT project Goobers, which debuted in September 2021 and has since acquired a total trading volume of 968 ETH. The project’s floor price peaked at 55.25 ETH on February 20, 2022, before plummeting to 0.02 ETH on January 3.
