Bitcoin (BTC) experienced a price increase that pushed the world’s most decentralized cryptocurrency into the $22,500 range, while Ethereum (ETH) experienced a double-digit “Giga pump” that pushed it past the $1,500 mark. Their combined efforts resulted in a 4.8 percent boost to the entire cryptocurrency market, propelling it to a recent high of $1.02 trillion.

Bitcoin has reclaimed the meme-worthy market cap of $420 billion, while Ethereum has a total market cap of $180 billion, having added more than $20 billion in the last 24 hours.

However, before you reach for the champagne, remember the previous crypto market cap all-time high. It reached $3 trillion in the fourth quarter of 2021, implying a $2 trillion loss.
