Two major German banks recently partnered to bring Cardano and Solana investments to their clients. Onvista and Comdirect, a subsidiary of Commerzbank AG, have joined forces with Valour to provide more crypto services to their customers.

According to a 2019 report, Comdirect is the third-largest bank in Germany, with over 2.5 million customers. It collaborated with Valour Inc., a publicly traded company that serves as a link between traditional financial markets and decentralized finance. The trio worked out an integration in which Onvista and Comdirect customers will have access to the crypto company’s wide range of exchange-traded products (ETPs).

With this new offering, German banks will be able to provide customers with investment options in a variety of altcoins. Cardano, Solana, Polkadot, Uniswap, Avalanche, Cosmos, and Enjin are all major players in the decentralized finance space.

These products are available in addition to Valour’s existing passive investment products in Bitcoin and Ethereum.

In terms of the trio’s collaboration, Valour CEO Russell Starr praised it as a step in the right direction for what the company is trying to build. “Despite market conditions, our recent hires have already added tremendous value to our team and will continue to execute at a high level,” the CEO added.
