introduces a Visa debit card with a 1% cryptocurrency rebate

Last Updated on October 27, 2022 by Bitfinsider, a cryptocurrency exchange, has launched a Visa debit card for U.S. citizens.

With the card, customers may make purchases using their cryptocurrency or fiat balance and receive 1% of their money back in cryptocurrency. There are no enrollment or yearly costs.

At launch, 50,000 people had signed up for the card’s waitlist, according to the business. As of 2023, it will be implemented in additional nations.

Cuy Sheffield, head of Crypto at Visa, said: “At Visa, we believe for crypto adoption to grow, it’s critical for it to be easily accepted everywhere.” He also added that “We’re excited to partner with leading crypto wallets and exchanges like to unlock more ways consumers can use their crypto for everyday purchases.”
