Collectors will be able to purchase one of 1,000 Banksy-inspired Radar Rats NFTs in September, which can be burned at any time to receive a free authenticated Banksy Walled Off Hotel Box Set. The collection includes hand-painted prints by Banksy’s team that were sold to customers of the Banksy Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem, Palestine, between 2017 and 2019.

The Radar Rats NFT collection can be minted and sold through Magic Eden’s launchpad on the Solana blockchain. Each NFT in the collection will be accompanied by a physical genesis collection of 1,000 Banksy Walled Off Hotel Box Sets acquired and secured by LCD Lab.

The NFT sale will be accessible through a whitelist system, which can be accessed by following LCD Lab on Twitter or holding 5 or more Stone Heads NFT.

The historic release represents one of the first times that digital and physical art have been directly linked within the art market. This bonding mechanism will increase the liquidity of physical art collections and broaden access to include fine art and NFT collectors, thus integrating the digital and physical collector worlds.

“With this project, we hope to introduce a completely new audience to the art market, making it more accessible and enjoyable.” We’re starting with Banksy, but our goal is to have a mix of upcoming and established artist sales in the coming months.” Baptiste Ozenne, LCD Lab’s gallerist, stated.

Throughout the sale, 10% of the proceeds will be shared with the Banksy Walled Off Hotel in order to organize an urban art festival in Bethlehem and reward the art community.

LCD Lab, a collective led by artist Leo Caillard and gallerist Baptiste Ozenne, a recognized industry leader in art tokenization, created this collection. LCD Lab’s mission is to democratize access to fine art for the entire market by utilizing NFT technology.
