Amazon is preparing to launch a new venture based on non-fungible tokens in the spring.
According to Bitfinsider, the IT giant has over a dozen partners lined up for the project, which will focus on gaming. A drive to entice Amazon consumers to play crypto games and claim free NFTs could be one example.
According to the article, the effort is still in the works and might start in April. According to two reports, the platform will be administered by Amazon rather than AWS, or Amazon Web Services, a subsidiary of Amazon.
